The drive to this lovely Hall winds through trees and passes a lake before arriving at the imposing entrance. It is an excellent example of a house designed to impress with fine craftsmanship evident in the intricate cornicing and plasterwork. The Hall has recently been completely re-furbished to restore it to its former glory and is once again a welcoming and luxurious country house. Surrounded by lawns and woodland it offers a refreshing peace and quiet in the heart of the Northumberland countryside.

The Hall is a stunning retreat from a busy world, reminiscent of a bygone age of Victorian and Edwardian grandeur. You can create your own Downton Abbey experience here, with vintage tea parties a speciality, and butlers and maids are easily organised. Just add your guests and perhaps some costumes, and you too can be Lord and Lady of the Manor.

The Hall itself has a fresh and bright feel to it with a slightly modern twist. The heritage of the building has been retained but with an easy elegance to the decor and furnishings.  You will certainly feel at home here, for it has always been a home.  Grand but cosy it can easily transform itself from a relaxed house party to a more formal wedding venue.

There’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy whether they feel like sitting and chatting, dancing or dining, with lots of room for extra day guests.

A charming tartan carpet leads the way upstairs to the bedrooms. All are stylishly and individually decorated in a contemporary manner, with an en-suite or private bathroom.

The gardens are gorgeous and offer a space for kids to run around as well as a lovely setting for an al fresco event.  Add in the absolutely glorious Northumbrian countryside and this is somewhere you will never want to leave.
