This quintessentially English Manor House dates from Tudor times, and is situated in the Cotswolds, one of the prettiest parts of England. The House is steeped in history and a stay here will take you back in time to a bygone age, but without forgoing all the essential conveniences of the 21st century. This exceptional home has been lovingly restored to an exacting standard by a renowned architect, who specialises in the conversion of historic buildings. It now offers an exclusive and luxurious retreat, a home from home brimming with character, where family and friends can relax and soak up the atmosphere.

It is the perfect setting for a small family get-together or an intimate party or wedding celebration of up to 30.

The Manor has been described as one of the finest small, Cotswold, Tudor houses, and boasts an abundance of exposed beams, real Cotswold stone fireplaces, original timbered doors and beautiful leaded light windows. It offers lots of living space downstairs.  The magnificent vaulted Dining Hall, is the room for entertaining in style complete with suit of armour and a huge dining table.

Two living rooms offer a choice for relaxation.  The first is decorated in a more traditional manner with wood burner, stone flags and comfy seating, the second is a brighter room with elegant seating, a chandelier, and a lovely open fire.

The Manor is available on a self-catering basis and has a well-equipped modern kitchen with a large catering oven and all mod cons.  Full catering services and staff can be provided should that be desired.

The bedrooms also hark back to the property’s Tudor heritage. They are beautifully decorated and very comfortable with period fittings, stone mullioned windows and exposed beams. One features a four poster bed. Due to the steep stairs this property is not ideal for small children.

The House is surrounded by beautiful formal gardens, which have been superbly designed, and overlooks its own small lake and the rolling fields beyond.

For corporate clients or those looking for an action-packed escape the Manor offers the ultimate in bespoke activities, from catering by top chefs, master-classes in chocolate making and cookery, demonstrations of perfume making to poker classes, pheasant shooting, whiskey tasting and cigar master-classes. Almost anything can be arranged to create the perfect event, tailor-made for you and your guests.
