This Italian Palazzo is a classic Italian villa built in 1640.  Aquired by the American billionaire J. Paul Getty it was restored and brought back to its original splendour, adding furniture, objects and artwork acquired from royal homes around the world. The property stands on the remains of a Roman Villa, that was discovered during the restoration. Once the summer residence of Roman emperors the current  17th century jewel is now one of the most prestigious hotels in Italy, offering refined and exquisite hospitality, complete with every modern comfort.

The Villa is a stunning setting for any event from dazzling parties to corporate hospitality. Overlooking the sea and surrounded by acres of beautiful gardens there is plenty of space in several function rooms including the main restaurant and Terrace.  Larger numbers of guests can mingle through the hotel for cocktail receptions, and for outdoor events guests can spill out into the surrounding gardens with marquees and gazebos easily set up. The Villa is so private you can party until the early hours.

The villa offers luxury rooms and beautiful suites with breathtaking sea or garden views. The two Master Suites are the most exclusive rooms in the hotel and are large and elegant with antique features and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the clear blue sea.

The Villa is set in such relaxing and colourful Italian gardens that many guests will spend their time strolling or sitting chatting on the terrace with a cocktail or watching as the sun sheds its orange coat and slips into the deep blue sea. Some guests cool off in the covered pool with views over the sea and the castle, while others head to the property’s private beach for a refreshing dip in the sea.

The hotel can also help with more energetic activities such as tennis, horse-riding, golf or hiring dinghies. There are bicycles to borrow and explore the Italian coastline or take a romantic picnic in the countryside. For incentive groups there’s wine tasting or the chance to cook with the executive chef of the gourmet restaurant, or perhaps arrange a private visit to the Villa Romana, which dates back to the 2nd Century BC.

The surrounding area is a playground of fun and adventure with Rome only 20 minutes away, and the mountains of Tolfa which are great for hiking, and Lakes nearby for a spot of sailing or a relaxing fishing expedition.

It really is a beautiful property and will add a touch of Italian charm to your event.
