Coastal Tower

This Coastal Tower is a stunning 15th century Scottish castle with a truly idyllic coastline backdrop for any type of event. Whether you are looking for a venue for a romantic wedding, a celebratory party or a business meeting or incentive trip, this is a spectacular venue, and the wealth of experiences and activities set it apart from other properties. Let the staff create a bespoke itinerary for you and your guests, and relax in the knowledge that you are in for a real treat.

The Tower is a comfortable and welcoming castle home that will put you instantly at ease. 34 en-suite bedrooms provide plenty of accommodation, and with many unique reception rooms across both the Tower and the grounds there is lots of space for you and your guests to spread out and relax. There are rooms for partying, dining, a meeting or just relaxing and with such a selection, small and large, there’s bound to be the size to suit.

Seclusion is part of what makes this Scottish Tower so desirable, yet secluded doesn’t mean inaccessible; the Tower is just minutes from the local Airport, and guests will be met by chauffeur driven vehicles and whisked off to arrive at the Tower in style.  You can even arrive by helicopter if you prefer.

The Tower has centuries of history, the oak panelled Great Hall with its roaring open fire, and the elegant Drawing Room seemingly untouched for generations, but with all the modern conveniences you will need.  Sample some local whiskies, dress up in kilts for a bit of a Scottish theme, watch the piper address the haggis and drink pints in their own pub.  Exclusive use of this rather special home is an exceptional experience, which will stay with you for a long time after you leave.

For weddings and parties the romance of a castle is a definite feature, combined with superb and surprisingly large event space for up to 150 guests.  Dramatic rooms and the backdrop of this spectacular castle provide a perfect setting for such occasions, and there’s always the beach for some alternative photos and fun. Make a weekend of it and experience all this wonderful property has to offer.

Within the grounds sits the magnificent Tree House – believed to be one of the largest in Europe. Perched high in the trees and looking imperiously through the foliage to the bay and castle this is a wonderful place for a romantic honeymoon night.

The Tower is ideal too for corporate events requiring some privacy, particularly launches and prestigious meetings.  A total retreat from modern business life, the scenery alone will refresh and stimulate the mind for some inspired strategic thinking, and when the work is done there’s much more to enjoy.

Activities are varied and endless and one of the main features on offer here.  With the sea at your side there’s plenty to do on the beach from horse-riding to an evening’s barbecue around a bonfire, sipping hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows.  Or try your hand at some off-road driving,  archery, falconry or shooting. Experience your own mini highland games with welly throwing and tossing the caber amongst the favoured options. Read more here.

Guests can experience adventure in the day, before relaxing in front of a roaring fire, enjoying a wee dram of the finest Scotch whiskey.  It really is the ultimate Scottish experience.
