Reception Rooms and Dining Area

This property to rent in Herefordshire has a variety of reception rooms and dining areas. The main reception room features a dining area at one end and sofa based seating at the other. Here you’ll find a modern media centre with a projector, Sky TV, and surround sound audio. You’ll be able to seat anything from 16 to 24 guests in the dining room. The projector and presentation screen can be used for business functions, making the property an ideal luxury corporate retreat venue.

Find the second large reception room across the courtyard at the other side of the house. This room has an L-shaped kitchen and dining area at one end and sofa area with a 43” plasma TV at the other. If required, this room can be cleared to allow for up to 40 guests to be seated at long, extendable tables. Three smaller receptions rooms and one intimate dining area are also available. You’ll be able to use these for socialising, relaxing, or as break out rooms for those renting the property in a corporate capacity.

Kitchens

Kington Lodge features five fully-equipped kitchens for guests to enjoy perfect for those that are looking for self-catering accommodation with the option of bringing in a chef on-site. The two larger kitchen areas each have a double range cooker and fridge-freezer, while the three smaller kitchens each have a fridge and cooker. Every kitchen comes with plenty of crockery, glassware and utensils. There is also a BBQ area outside for guests to enjoy.

Bedrooms

Every bedroom within the property features either a luxurious king-size bed or comfortable set of twins and comes with an en-suite bathroom. If you’d like to host 23 guests overnight, utilise its further 7 single beds. Each room is elegantly decorated and the beds have deluxe Egyptian cotton sheets. All bathrooms have towels, dressing gowns, and hand towels. Hairdryers are also provided.

The Garden Cottage – 3 bedrooms with king-size double or twin beds ( sleeps 6 guests)

The Lodge – 2 double / family bedrooms (sleeps 4 – 6 guests)

The Forge – 1 super king-size bed with an additional futon and en suite bathroom ( sleeps 3 guests)

The Barn – 1 double bedroom with an es-suite and an additional toilet (sleeps 2)

Leisure

One of the best features about this large house is its large and heated outdoor pool. Hence, you’ll be able to enjoy it from May through to September (please enquire about the specific dates). Sun loungers are positioned next to the pool area, ready for the hot summer months. The property also has a hot tub, sauna, and media room with a cinema screen. The active ones in your group will love that there’s a squash court, Badminton kit, and table tennis board.

Local activities

The local area has several outdoor-based activity centres. Oaker Wood Leisure (just 20 minutes away) offers paintballing, quad bikes, raft building, clay pigeon shooting and high ropes courses. Other centres within worth checking out include Inspire2Adventure (1 hour away), Ultimate Activity Company (35 minutes away) and Life Changing Activities (1 hour away).

Corporate

Kington Lodge makes an amazing choice for a luxury corporate retreat venue. The property includes two large meeting rooms and a smaller breakout room. There’s also a professional kitchen, optional in-house catering, and private grounds ideal for team building exercises. If you rent out the whole estate, you’ll be able to accommodate up to 30 delegates overnight in their separate beds.
